Today I would like to discuss how important Gray plays a part in our fashion world. Not only is it a great neutral for Fall and Winter, but it can also be worn in Spring and Summer as well paired with bright colors. My favorite colors from Pantone's Spring Color Choices were Paloma Gray, Freesia Yellow, and Celosia Orange.
My dress has a mix of all three in my own version of color choices, but I thought orange and yellow belonged with the charcoal gray color of my dress. I really love bateau necklines and an open back as well and think a woman's back is extremely sexy to show while keeping the front of the body completely covered up and showing no skin. It's classy and timeless. My colored straps on the back bring a bit of edge to this timeless silhouette.

Dress designed by me
1. As always I believe in pairing black with everything. I can't tell you enough how so many women wonder what shoes to wear and look in their closet trying to match everything perfectly. When you have nothing to wear with your outfit, put a pair of black heels on. It works well the majority of the time. I don't have yellow or orange heels, but I look at this outfit and wouldn't mind finding a pair of orange snakeskin pointy toe pumps. I think they would make such a great statement with this dress. But I have black and black it is! :)
2. Since the focal point of my dress is the back and the bright colored straps, I chose to wear a pair of my favorite earrings, which are yellow and gunmetal. A statement necklace works great with the neckline too, so that would work great as well.
3. This dress makes a great cocktail dress for an evening party when played up with fun accessories. It's a nice cotton sateen fabric with slight stretch for ultimate comfort so you can move comfortably.
What do you think about gray colors? Do you like them paired with the colors I used above? Also, can you wear this length skirt or dress for your work? Let me know in the comments below.
